The Directorate of AYUSH, Assam has officially released the admission notice for State Quota seats in BAMS/BHMS courses for the academic session 2025-26.

Eligibility Criteria for State Quota Seat:
To apply for admission, candidates must meet the following conditions:
1. Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. Either the candidate or their parents must have continuously resided in Assam for at least 20 years.
Note: This condition does not apply to children of All India Service officers allotted to Assam.
3. Educational Qualification: The candidate must study in Assam from Class VII to XII and pass the qualifying exam (or its equivalent) from an institute in Assam.
Relaxation: If a candidate studies outside Assam because their parent is a Government employee posted outside Assam, the condition is relaxable.
Admission Process After Declaration Form Submission
Verification of Documents: Submitted forms will be verified by the authority.
Counselling Schedule: Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling based on their NEET-UG 2025 rank.
Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted according to merit, category, and availability.
Reporting to College: Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective colleges with all original documents and admission fees.
